The Brief

Royal Mail had a recent study under their belt which showed that marketers could benefit form using both digital and print media together. Our task was to produce a microsite that got this message across to the UK’s top 6,000 digital marketers.

The Solution

Proximity London’s direct marketing piece drove people to a personalised microsite, where an image of a computer desktop transformed itself into an origami character called Mr Complete!

Mr Complete then guided users through the advantages of using both digital and print media together, via a highly visual and interactive experience, complete with stunning 3D animation.

Finally, the call-to-action was made as simple as possible; users were presented with a form containing their phone number, and simply clicked “yes” to request a call-back from Royal Mail’s B2B team.

The Result

- The website achieved unprecedented response rates of over 12%
- Average dwell time on the site of over 9 and a half minutes
- The campaign has gone on to win numerous industry awards
